Easy comeback
The reason the chart looks different is that modern temps are from actual measurements, while historical ones are estimates based on inherently slow-changing markers. If we had actual measurements we would likely see much greater variability in the historical record. Doesn't mean it's true, but they've got the comeback. -- Drew |
