You mentioned you replaced the power supply - did you try the motherboard in a whole 'nother case (without buying one, of course - I wouldn't expect you to do that!)?

Have you tried the motherboard out of the box, sitting on a piece of plastic, wood or glass?

because there's just not enough free space in my office at the moment. Though now that I think of it, I wish I had...

the problem seems to be solved at the moment, though. My trials are listed in the hardware forum...
