Back in the Bad Old Days I'd have had to screw around with it to figure out how it worked, but today? Of course, enthusiasts of old sewing machines had placed the manual on-line.

Things like this just go to remind one how difficult it used to be to get information on just about anything.

Reminds me of an event from many years ago. The children of a man who's hobby was collecting antique sewing machines hated his hobby. The moment he died, they called the junk man to haul all this junk away. A few days later, the head of a sewing machine club came by. He told them it was too bad they junked them, because the collection was worth well over $125,000.
