Obama finalizes increased overtime eligiblity rules.
NYTimes: The Labor Department calculates that 4.2 million workers will become newly eligible for overtime. In addition, nearly nine million more workers who should be eligible for overtime under the current duties test will be protected against being denied overtime illegally. I'm sure Rmoney would have done the same thing, because, after all, the parties are the same. Amirite? ;-p Cheers, Scott.

Also this (from your link)
Proponents like Mr. Eisenbrey urged the administration to raise the cutoff to about $51,000, which, in inflation-adjusted dollars, is roughly where it stood in 1975, when the Ford administration undertook the last major expansion of overtime eligibility. Yippee! He's almost (but not quite) as much for the working class as Gerald Ford! What progress!

OMG! No pony on the first day!!
The point remains, he did a very good thing, and the cutoff will be adjusted every 3 years going forward. It's incremental progress, and it's how progress happens in the USA.
Rmoney wouldn't have done it. Trump won't either, since he said he thinks wages are too high right now.
Cheers, Scott.

this is a good thing, especially for fast food workers
Many years ago I was "manager" of a fast food joint. Minimum wage was $4.15 per hour. I was management so salaried. Made an average of 2.11 per hour.
always look out for number one and don't step in number two

Yup, it's brutal. (From things I picked up working for a Domino's franchisee long ago.)
