Bill was running against a sane Republican who was swerving from Reagan, and against a guy who was saying the Debt was going to kill us in our beds. After the first midterm, he tacked to the right due to the Congress shifting right.
Hillary will be running against an insane Republican, a representative of a party that blew up the economy, broke the Congress, and is trying to break the SCOTUS, and maybe against another billionaire with a huge ego but no base. A Congress that refuses to do anything has nothing to offer her to entice her to move right. (If she flips the Senate, then she'll work really hard to pass what she can ASAP.)
I don't think she'll be turning "hard right" - she can and will learn from history.
But we'll (probably) see soon enough.
Cheers,
Scott.
