Usually there is a sports bar with video poker. I put a $20 in and my players card and drink free all night. Then I cash the $20 out and give the waitress a $10 tip so she doesn't give a rats ass whether you are actually playing or not.

And after I got home I found out that it was on NBC free tv, so I could have stayed home and saved at least $15 in beer by drinking my own.
