Of course, during this time, I got engaged and moved away from my 'network', fought off two evictions, lost my fiance (sadly, much of the stress was financial), moved back, stayed afloat as a stock-boy at Macy's.. I'm doing OK now that I'm back, but even now my future is uncertain.

Having said that, while I'd jump at a good permanent job - I'm happier than I was at my last salaried position... Even though my stress-level has never been higher.
