I wanted to get a Mountie hat in Quebec, but J said no.
I forgot to bring my cowboy hat, or my black "Mormon" Amish hat, or my ventilated gardening hat or ...
We went to a little hat shop in Montreal and they had some neat ones, but they were generally way too spendy. I liked their Mountie hat (nice big brim) but it was lined with nylon or silk and would have been really hot. :-( Plus, J said "No!!!!1 You're not getting that!!!1"
My hair gets too curly and flippy to protect my neck from the sun. A mullet wouldn't work. ;-) I usually just end up wearing a hat with a brim and a thin long-sleeve overshirt (with a collar).
