New Roses
It's one of the biggies, but I have finally got roses in decent order.

Rosales - Order.

Actually, my whole project to put all the edible eudicots in order is nearing completion. I still have some heavy work to do on beans - then a bunch of clean-up to get all the pages up to current standards.

Then I'll have time to start cooking and chasing women again.

New Re: chasing women again.
Reminds of a George Burns, who was in hid 80s at the time: "I still chase after women, I just don't know why."

That's from my memory, so it could be off a bit. :)

The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."”

New As I recall . . .
. . he was in his later 80s and was asked if he still looked at girls. His reply was, "Yes, I still look at the pretty girls - I just don't remember why".
New Yours may be more accurate.

New West Coast bias on apples.
Look here for NY State varieties. One of the things I miss about NY is buying raw apple cider in season.

New RAW Apple Cider...
I miss it around here also. It always tastes "cooked"

When I was 5 years old to 8 years old, we lived near a family that owned some larger apple orchards...

Freshly pressed and cheese clothed cider was wonderful stuff.
