Body Area Network. I imagine a cell-phone jammer would find that rather harder to disrupt since it uses the skin as a conductive pathway.

Note I don't know much about the tech, but I have encountered the idea of smart guns like this in speculative fiction several times. Interesting they always use the equivalent of a body area network, such as a contact pad, instead of broadcast technology.
