Welcome to IWETHEY!

New It's a great store. Always busy here.
Shopping there on the weekends is an adventure in frustration (the one I go to is the bottom floor of an office building and garage parking is packed).

They're not as jaw-droppingly cheap as they used to be (except for wine), but it's still my go-to place for groceries.

Staff turnover seems to be very low, too.

Cheers,
Scott.
New Staff turnover here is not low . . .
. . it is practically non-existent.
New Why? Pay ... benefits ... environment ... ?

New Don't know. But, they seem to be a jolly lot.
And they really go all out help. I was looking for a small tub of "Triple Ginger" cookies and they seemed to be out of them. The guy I talked to went out back to check the stock, came back to say they really were out and when a new supply would come.

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”

-- Isaac Asimov
New Agreed . my favorite store.
New Yes, yes, and yes.
I've talked to some of their employees. They are quite content with their compensation and benefits and they are treated like real people. They don't even bitch about the customers.
Totally unAmerican...
