Yesterday night he was goofing around by transposing it on the fly into various keys, at the same speed that video plays it. This must be the string equivalent of the young Maynard Ferguson, who could play clarino range on a std. trumpet. (Heard that, after a gig he'd hang out with other zanies, lie on back and play overtones endlessly==titanium lip.) Loved the ept audience at end.. Speechless! (motionless is harder--neat choreography.) Bonus points: they didn't smash the cellos! Just the horsehair..
