New Possibly sporadic access soon
My wife and I will start the moving process this week. There is a distinct posssibility that I will go a week or 2 without good network access from home. (OTOH I might get roadrunner installed this week, dunno until I try.)

Wish me luck...and when it is done I will start trying to think about getting a new computer set up which takes even more luck... :-)

But we aren't packing/unpacking. We get a nice 2 week overlap, which simplifies a lot of things.

BTW we get internet access from Roadrunner Sat afternoon. With luck that all goes smoothly.

Is who I have(had? aka ATTBroadBand?) service with. No problems except occassionally service would be "down". IP address was lost (ipconfig). Fixed by cron an ipdown eth1 at 02:00 and then ipup eth1 at 02:05. Never had that problem again.

New I picked them on my sysadmin's recommendation
The only gotcha that I heard about is that it is important that their equipment only see one mac address. Else you have to turn everything off and reset it.

That piece of equipment will be a linksys firewall. :-)
