After reading the suggestion to Inthane to do something with all those CPU cycles he now has left over, I turned SETI@home back on... and promptly lost control over the mouse scroll button in OO 1.0 (and only there.)

Any scrolling movement is delayed for up to 10 seconds. Text input is also notably affected but much less so. Killing SETI@home immediately restores things to normal. Never noticed any pronounced SETI side effects like this.
