Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Google Chrome and
its Built-in tools, Highlight the area and the right click "Inspect Element"

It showed the hierarchy, matching CSS and the inherited CSS. The only ones that didn't have lines through them where the ones that were active.

I have Firebug light for Chrome, but it is disabled, since it causes lag for everyday usage.

New Neat. Thanks for the mini-tutorial.
New If something is to complex and I
cannot figure something out, I always return to simpler tools.

It is amazing at how hard it can be to figure some stuff out with good tools that give you a great view or do auto-magic for you.

I've found a lot of stuff glosses over things when you are looking for something in a haystack... be it a needle or a Mack-truck.

New I also use Chrome now a day...
Everyday. Exception is in a CentOSv4 VM which I need to run my VM instances for VMWare. It has FireFox v1.5.0 installed and it is pinned.

Stupid VMWare console plugin only works with FireFox 3.5.11 and before and really works best with 1.5.0. Glad I use it on tunneled stuff.

New Is there anything similar for Chrome mobile?
For some reason things that look the same on Chrome desktop, and on the default Android browser, look different on Chrome mobile. Is there any way to access the inspector on mobile?

[edit] Never mind, found it: https://developers.g.../remote-debugging
