Welcome to IWETHEY!

New I rarely see XP "FP",Vista "Glass" or whatevritscalled in 7
Control panel, "Appearance and Personalization", Theme "Windows Classic". In XP it was still called "NT 4" or "Windows 95"; in 7 it's "Windows Classic"; can't recall if it changed before or after Vista, or if that had yet another name for it.

Same old username (as above), but now on iki.fi

(Yeah, yeah, it redirects to the same old GMail... But just in case I ever want to change.)
New Yes...
I only really like the W2K/NT4/98 Interface for Windows.

Right now, on Linux, I am using XFCE. They have stated in the mailing list, they are going to continue using GTK version 2 until version 3, works out things to make it work better.

Heck, GIMP still is using GTK v2. What makes you think GTK version 3 is going to eclipse version 2 anytime soon.

Oh, by the way... (not really for CRC) but do you know what *GTK* stands for? (Hint: http://www.gtk.org/)...

Yeah, *NOT* GNOME. Though it is managed by the GNOME Foundation.

New Not for me, why? Because I totally knew that.
Yes, actually, I did.
New I'm sure.
Of all the people I ask... and people that supposedly have "knowledge" in that arena, mistakenly cal it GNOME ToolKit... You would be one I'd expect I'd not have to correct.

Sure. GNOME might use it, but it is NOT that. It surprises most people I correct. They then go on to say "It doesn't matter." Again, I correct them that yes it does because it harms other project that use GTK to be associated with GNOME.

I leave it at that.
