I went to my first con the other month where there was a high proportion of attendees in cosplay: SupaNova Sydney. It was fa-a-antastic! There were people who were minimal, others who had made an effort, some who had done a lot with a little, others who went for creative interpretation and a few who had clearly spent a _lot_ of time and money. But it was all great!
