Multiplication quizzes might never be the same in Chicago.
One Chicago-area third-grader was presented the sometimes-tricky Â9x9 multiplication problem, so she offered a creative -- and correct -- answer. ÂHossa was scribbled under the ominous 9x9, as in Marian Hossa, No. 81 for the Chicago Blackhawks.
Christine Mech, the teacher and a Blackhawks fan, knew what was up but wanted to make sure her student knew the correct answer, writing "What is this?" Maggie Ciara -- the coolest third-grader this side of the Mississippi -- confirmed to her teacher that she put Hossa instead of the more boring but still correct 81.
