With only 1 USB3 cable tween it and the laptop, to take care of Power (if the laptop can do it), Network, Display, other USB (webcam), Audio, and additional USB ports. In other words, plug a single USB cable in form the monitor and its set. Alternatively you can hookup via a VGA connection. And yes its an TN, not an IPS. But of course you are looking at the screen at oblique angels... oh well.
