![]() A couple years ago, before I had my back surgery, we had a fan installed in my wife's study/office. It has a remote switch, like a one button garage door clicker. The fan turns itself on at random times. I don't know if it's power surges or something else can generate a compatible signal, or what. Since it's random, it makes it difficult to analyze. Be happy you have something you can figure out.

One of our ceiling lights with a radio remote always turns itself on if there has been a power glitch (e.g. lightning), but rarely on other occasions too. Cheers, Scott. |
