Having set up Win XP with OXP and MapPoint 2002, I was running a demo for someone when I discovered a strange 'security' issue

Using MapPoint, you can't get directions to the White House
You can get directions to DC, even to Pennsylvania Avenue NW, but if you put in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue it tells you that it can't give directions to that location, that roads or ferries may not be available.

This must be intentional, but is it just programmer humor or something else?

New Not a bug.
They closed off Pennsylvania Avenue to everything but foot traffic after one of the kook events a few years ago.
