"Surprisingly, Finland is able to accomplish these laudable social goals with a per capita income that is only 66 percent of the per capita income in the United States."

Can somebody prove that the real story is not more like "Accomplishing these laudable social goals limits Finland's per capita income to only 66 percent of the per capita income in the United States"?

Until then, I'll gladly take talk over action.

And another thing: Just mentioning "immigrants and refugees" in the second-to-last paragraph is not going to avert the inevitable moral-hazard catastrophe of increasing cultural diversity.
