While the the ending was sad, I thought it was very well done and a very fitting end to the LEXX series. The ending did leave me "stunned" for a couple days, thus was the quality of the show.

I was surprised when Prince revealed he was Death. I always thought of him as Satan, ala The Prince of Darkness.

I thought it was rather surprising how rapidly the Lexx went senile before his death and started responding to others besides his captain.

I loved that it was 790 that caused the Earth to be destroyed(by acting as if he were the captain of the now senile Lexx), and thus ironically be instrumental in the ultimate death of "his man".

I also loved the irony when The President and Bunny stole Dr. Longbore's ship from him and him complaining "but I built it" - the exact same complaint from the geeks that built the ship for him when he excluded them all(selecting only blonde females) from leaving the doomed Earth on the ship.

Because of the way the episode went, I was expecting the Lexx to die, but I didn't expect the baby Lexx! Long live mini-Lexx :-)

Over in the NEWS section of [link|http://xraylexx.moonfruit.com/|X-Ray Lexx](the site appears to be running a FLASH based interface?!?!) There's a tidbit from a chat with Brian Downey(Stan) that he's "sure" there will be a spin off. There's another tidbit from Jeffrey Hirshfield(one of the creators/writers as well as 790) that they're "working on it".

While they sound hopeful, neither one sounds like a "done deal" to me.
