then once you find one you like... try it on the phone and if its loud enough... and pleasant enough... use it. Also MP3 work as ringtones... |

![]() A friend at work has an iPhone with an old fashioned telephone ring-tone. It's quite loud and really gets your attention.

Make sure you turn off the location services as it wakes the phone up *ALOT*... unless you are using them. I'm very pleased with the Nexus... does everything and more that I need it to do and with good enough battery life. I'd love 10 days of battery. |

![]() Google maps gets my location if I have the WiFi location services turned on, but with that off (and GPS on) it gets nothing.

![]() I can turn GPS on or off. I can turn location services -- which in this context means WiFi -- on or off. I can allow apps (including Google Maps) to use location services. I don't see where I can allow apps to use GPS.

![]() If I use the Google Maps app, it works with just GPS. Is I use maps.google.com from the internet app, it requires location services to be on.
