Until they demolished over 80% of what used to be downtown... including abandoned housing, crime was something you avoided by driving through downtown on the way to St. Joesph, MI... without stopping for the lights. Walking through it? BWAHAHHA. Even the Police didn't go there WITH Body Armor.
