I knew a guy who was the director of the International Clown Hall of Fame. The ICHoF no longer exists, despite this guy's excellent efforts. Great guy. Not a clown, just a guy who cares a lot about history and his community.

He presided over a move from one location to another. There was a box he told me about. Clearly had been packed for the last move and never unpacked. So this box had been moved at least twice.

It was labelled "broken glass".

Was this the shattered remnants of some piece of clown history awaiting restoration? My friend opened the box. No, it was just random broken window and beverage holder glass. Trash. Trash that can hurt you if you aren't careful. Somebody had used severely limited ICHoF resources to pack and label trash, store it, move it and store it in the severely limited new space, and then move it to the even more limited new-new space. And nobody knows how many times happened.
