Admittedly, they are not giving out the medal of honor for this stuff. What they ARE doing is normalizing the murder of civilians because they live next door to some guy the fellow down the hall thinks might be a terrier. or terrorist. or something. I mean, it HAS to be ok; they gave the operator a medal for it. And it's legal; the president, himself, got a staffer to write him a note saying so.

Glorifying the military and indiscriminate use of force for authoritarian purposes are hallmarks of fascism. If we are ever going to be a democracy again, we are going to have to walk back a lot of stuff. I think that is what Glenn is usually bitching about. YMMV, of course.
