Wireless networks really take over some of this issue. The cost of the bandwidth from the 3/4G providers helps limit usage. I know that I deliberately limit my use of cellular bandwidth when out of the house.
I think this is mainly an issue with teens at the moment. There's no reason to watch YouTube and such when you're out in a car or somewhere without wireless networks. Regards,
