We'll see if the house lives up to it's potential.
Pool has been warm enough for a couple of days. I've been swimming in the afternoon. The boy LOVES owning a pool. Just loves it. Swims all the time, proudly skims and cleans it.
7 chairs on the front porch along with 1 real table and 2 side tables, with no interruption in pathway from steps to door.
1st room can handle 10 people, is currently set-up with chairs and table for 7, all along the perimeter, lots of room to walks through or use. Has a nice recliner. Finally have a decent spot for it.
2nd room is same size, has a couch, chairs, all perimeter as well. Fireplace cuts into usable wall people space, as does door to bathroom.
3rd room has buffet table along 1 wall, fireplace on next, mirrored wall with centered china hutch (not too oldish looking, more country style), and opens into den with couch, love seat, rocking chair. Room for about 15 people (comfortably).
We have been crazy on Craig's list. That table is HEAVY.
Next is screened porch, setup with chairs and table for 6, room for 10.
Then we have pool space / sidewall, not a lot of lounging, say about 8 people in and out of the pool at any given moment. Note: 8 all in the pool is crowded, this is not a big pool, but a churn of 8 people is a reasonable use.
Big BBQ (hot, with side burner) setup and tested, fueled up.
Bug zapper (far side of yard) setup and citronella torches all fueled up.
Fridge and freezer is filled with food and drink, and ice on the way.
We are less than 1/4 mile from the local hospital emergency room. On the same street. Doorway to doorway. I have a dolly I can wheel someone in if there are car problems (ie: I'm too drunk). Hopefully we won't be testing their services, but nice to know they are there.
And it seems bman may have gotten exhausted partying with his 80 year old mother yesterday, so I won't be seeing him.
How old are you bman? The old lady tuckered you out?
