While Chicago's show on WGN was the best known and longest lasting (they stopped running it I think last summer, after being on the air for over 35 or 40 years), the show was syndicated and produced in several cities in the Northern USA. They used to show the cartoon as part of the Chicago show on and off during that time. Some years had the cartoon, some didn't. So they should rename it to "Cartoon and Children's Shows Trivia" lincoln "Four score and seven years ago, I had a better sig"
Post #36,011 by orion 4/19/02 2:32:07 PM Reply	I remember the cartoon I think they showed it on a local station here in St. Louis in the 1970's? But yes, I think the cartoon was part of the show. Captain Kangaroo was not a cartoon, as far as I know, but more like a puppet show with live actors. Did Captain Kangaroo ever get revenge on the Moose for all those ping-pong ball attacks? I just do not know. *I am free now, to choose my own destiny.*
