Welcome to IWETHEY!

New It's called repeater mode...
Most of the AP's that I am familiar with have a repeater mode which allows the AP to connect with another AP through the RF link instead of the ethernet link. It is a special configuration item though... the standard ethernet to the backbone and rf link to clients is the default (and more efficient) mode.

New Thanx!
Googling on "Daisy Chain" wasn't turning up anything!

New efficiency shouldn't matter
found out what's up - one of the owners of the company I work for wants internet access in his "garage"(it's bigger than my house, complete with kitchen and bathroom). The garage is far enough away from the house that the wireless doesn't reach. There's a gazebo between the house and garage that could act as a relay point. Since it's just 1 person, the drop in efficiency shouldn't matter.

New [sigh]
Man, that's a rough life he's got. Not able to get his high-speed connection out to the garage because it's too far from the house ... I don't know how he stands it.
