found a silver safety razor at the flea market for $5
bought 30 blades for $3.10 a blade will last approximately 2 months. Its a longer more careful shave but the price is right

Closer shave, too.
I experimented with a single blade "safety razor" for a few weeks. It almost shaves too close - for me ~ 36 hours between shaves for reasonably long stubble.

Unfortunately, I rarely made it through the process without blood somewhere... More practice needed, I guess. I recently replaced my Braun 3 Series shaver with one of these: http://www.amazon.co...ech/dp/B001DNE3KQ It shaves closer and doesn't take as many passes on my neck as the Braun. It's a little louder though (sounds like a large mosquito) and I think it needs to be charged a little more frequently. No blood, but the blade is still closer. Cheers, Scott. |
