45+ MPH.
Small car.
She said the deer exploded.
Dented the front a bit, took out the grill, but that's it.
She got lucky.

New She was VERY lucky.
I've seen deer nearly total small cars. Particularly the newer ones that are designed to crumple to absorb impact energy.
