My daughter hit a deer last Monday
45+ MPH.
Small car. She said the deer exploded. Dented the front a bit, took out the grill, but that's it. She got lucky. |

She was VERY lucky.
I've seen deer nearly total small cars. Particularly the newer ones that are designed to crumple to absorb impact energy.
