The individuals in the criminal enterprise -- a worldwide ring led by Australians Kim Dotcom, aka Kim Schmitz, and Kim Tim Jim Vestor -- each face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison on racketeering charges, five years for conspiracy to commit copyright infringement, 20 years on money laundering charges and five years on related charges.


Interesting set of charges...except of course conspiracy to commit copyright infringement.

Also interesting that this is their volley one day post blackout.

New I wonder where the international uproar is.
The only link I see is that some of Megaupload's servers were in the US. Absent that and the US has arrested and charged non-US citizens on non-US soil. :-/ What was that line again about 'world police'?
