Do PHP class properties need to be declared?
I had something stop working today. Turned out the fix was I had to declare a couple of class properties before using them. This was working until recently, so I'm assuming my host changed it's version of PHP or a config setting.
I can't find anything about this, though, so I don't know what else might have changed. Anyone got a pointer? --

I've always declared them.
I can't quickly find anything about disabling automatic instance variables.
