Don't bludgeon your readers. ;-)
That comes from 15 years of living in Texas with all of the Birthers/Tenthers/ultra-conservatives/Fox News only watchers. I've tried for years to reason with them, to no avail. Thus I turn to the nuclear option as first choice. Besides, it's more fun that way.
