Another kid had climbed in and was getting perforated by the caged deer. My brother Steve climbed the fence and dragged the other kid out. Other kid ended up in the hospital. Steve, cuts and bruises but nothing serious. Deer are actually dangerous. Any animal more than half the size of a human is. Other kid had epilepsy. Lived on a boat. Drowned about a year later. But Steve got him one more birthday party. --------------------------------------- Badass! (and delicious)

Walking the doggie Wednesday night, we saw a couple of fawns in a neighbor's yard. Sophie was very interested in going to investigate. She normally only gets to chase squirrels... But we let them be. I've been seeing a lot more wildlife around here the last couple of years. Deer, foxes, coyotes, racoons, bald eagles, beavers. It's good that they're coming back, but unfortunately they're getting run over a lot too. :-( Cheers, Scott.
