The other dictators are looking around, thinking, shit, I could be next.

So either they clamp down harder or they GTFO.

And the clamp downs may trigger the next wave.

We installed most of them and supplied them. We LIKE dictators right up to the point that they don't give our owners^w corporations the terms they dictate^w want.

I understand why you should be suspect of any of these situations, I know I am, but that doesn't stop the occasional "win" in the situation, even though it employs situational ethics.
