New lincoln is special, one of only 46k people on earth
http://www.bnet.com/...lose-viewers/1680
Olbermann’s average was down to 46,000 viewers and was in no danger of coming close to breaking into the top 30 cable TV news shows

New Re: lincoln is special, one of only 46k people on earth
Ah, but is that Olbermann...or the fact that his show on Al Gore’s Current TV (America’s least watched network).

(I know I can't get the network.)

To be fair, even at 46,000 Olbermann is still drawing twice what Current was getting before him. Pre-Olbermann, the network was averaging about 23,000 viewers a day in 2010. That means nationwide they had fewer eyeballs than a CW affiliate does in a mid-sized city.

New So 46k people on earth are smart
and watch someone willing to tell it like it is & tells the truth. Why do you have a problem with that?

"Chicago to my mind was the only place to be. ... I above all liked the city because it was filled with people all a-bustle, and the clatter of hooves and carriages, and with delivery wagons and drays and peddlers and the boom and clank of freight trains. And when those black clouds came sailing in from the west, pouring thunderstorms upon us so that you couldn't hear the cries or curses of humankind, I liked that best of all. Chicago could stand up to the worst God had to offer. I understood why it was built--a place for trade, of course, with railroads and ships and so on, but mostly to give all of us a magnitude of defiance that is not provided by one house on the plains. And the plains is where those storms come from."
