I'm setting up a network for a friend, and for various reasons I'd rather not spend a bunch of time arguing about, his gateway box to the world is running Win2k server. He's got a cable modem, yada yada yada.
Ok, NAT is installed, and seems to work fine, EXCEPT when there is any kind of password authentication/submission form, etc. As near as I can tell, the data is submitted, and it ATTEMPTS to return the next page, with the pages not being successfully returned.
Case in point: mail.yahoo.com loads just fine, enter a username/password, and the frameset comes up, but the individual frames fail to load.
Try to log into zIWETHEY, and it fails as well. If you plug the individual computer directly into the cable modem, it can access everything just fine.
Kazaa works just fine however. :P So does e-mail, Seti@home, and Windows Update. I'm posting this from the server machine, how fubared is that?
