Military network security specialists arenÂt sure whether the virus and its so-called Âkeylogger payload were introduced intentionally or by accident; it may be a common piece of malware that just happened to make its way into these sensitive networks.
It's a key logger, of course it isn't benign. One of the primary functions of key loggers to grab passwords for later more serious attacks. It might now work here, but it isn't friendly or safe.
