Join us.
WP7 has the UI UX from the future. Everything else looks a bit, well... Windows 98, by comparison. |

No NO I can't go to the dark side

Any online demos I can see?
I'm looking for a smartphone and hadn't considered any Windows ones. I'd at least like to know what I'm ignoring.

Re: Any online demos I can see?
Screenshots are no help; Metro is an interface in motion. I don't have easy access to YouTube right now (I'm in the pub, match) but I'll have a look later for you.

It looks and sounds good.
I'd say Microsoft have very nearly made Android look "me-too-ish" next to the iPhone. This could have been so much more obvious just a year ago, but Android has had that year to consolidate its growing up.
It looks like WP7 has the unusual distinction of being put together by a group in Microsoft who really understand they have to compete in new and interesting directions whilst staying compatible with what people will want to use with it. If the rest of MS would get on that, we would have a much nicer and better company in the industry! Would certainly give Apple something to be genuinely worried about... Wade.
