While I may agree in general with his sentiment, the bottom line is some people will try to kill you for no direct reason (they hate your parents, your grand parents, or some imagined slight a couple of thousand years ago), and you simply have to be prepared, and being prepared means sometimes you gotta kill someone who is intending you harm.
