So you think that brief shot, the 250# yahoo pulling as hard as he can on this tiny turtle's neck ... to amuse a screaming crowd ... is not as bad as the description.
On that I can agree: no heads were pulled off. In this 53 second run. So?? it's OK then.
Unclear what happened the rest of the day: an exaggeration? or a common occurrence. No video-proof, so--it didn't happen?

"Yanked from their shells" doesn't signify "heads ripped off". You'd have to ask that turtle how it felt--after.
Whether or not turtles *were* slammed onto the ground in this fun fest obviously isn't shown in this video. Is it true?
Is it automatically not-true because it isn't on this film? This cretin obviously didn't have to "swing the animal around" either,
to accomplish his "challenge" (250# VS 10#?) Did others? What I saw was disgusting enough to despise the lot of them. ymmv

Now ponder for a minute, the state of that animal's neck after this cretin had yanked with obviously the full force he could muster..
I've no idea whether change.org is related in any way to PETA, or merely heard of the matter via their flic. But I don't need an org to make it any clearer to me that:
the kids visible in that rabble have gotten an intro from this organized/cheered-on brutality: that it's OK to abuse defenseless animals
--for any imaginable "entertainment" by beered-up idiots / their own parents, perhaps?

Show me what activities are 'entertaining' to a mob and I'll give you a Rorschach of who they 'raise';
in this case, reread the Psych evaluations re childhood animal habits VS later correlations.
(Another correlation: Google, "bullying in America"--86K hits.)
Similar mindset, only usually there, the perp doesn't outweigh the victim 25:1. 'Coward' is too gentle an epithet. I like raging-psychopath.

Just one more nail in the coffin of this culture--overall. Let it all unravel/improve the planet.
