This might actually be a good thing

http://www.lonestarr...l-any-flight.aspx "Chicago to my mind was the only place to be. ... I above all liked the city because it was filled with people all a-bustle, and the clatter of hooves and carriages, and with delivery wagons and drays and peddlers and the boom and clank of freight trains. And when those black clouds came sailing in from the west, pouring thunderstorms upon us so that you couldn't hear the cries or curses of humankind, I liked that best of all. Chicago could stand up to the worst God had to offer. I understood why it was built--a place for trade, of course, with railroads and ships and so on, but mostly to give all of us a magnitude of defiance that is not provided by one house on the plains. And the plains is where those storms come from." -- E.L. Doctorow |

Dang. It died.

By the way, I just had the joy of watching my oldest daughter go through this at Fort Wayne International airport. Where there are about a dozen TSA goons for every passenger. I wrote a letter to the local paper. They've always printed every letter I've ever sent. But I doubt seriously they'll print this one: Dear Editors: |

they should have shut the airports for a few days
the uproar would seriously shut the goons down

Horrible. Send it to TSA HQ too.
http://www.tsa.gov/contact/index.shtm
If you use the web form, make sure you send it by mail as well. John Pistole is the Administrator - http://www.tsa.gov/w..._pistole_bio.shtm He's from Indiana. Don't let this get swept under the rug in Ft. Wayne. :-( Cheers, Scott. |

I'm very disappointed with them

Who? The TSA people or TX legislators?

I'm disappointed with them for being cowards when it was time to stand up for our rights.
The TSA I'm pissed off with for their belief that the constitution and amendments don't apply to them |

What Constitution and Bill of Rights?
We don't need no stinkin' Constitution!

Thanks.
About an hour after I emailed the story, a female editor called to confirm it was okay with my daughter to print a letter referring to her. I relayed what my daughter had written me about it ("Go for it, Dad. I hope they print that letter because I'm sure there are a lot of people who feel the same way") and it will be printed. It's going to be printed. For whatever that's worth. ;0(
