I totally wiped the drive due to a Win98 problem(it was seeing phantom partitions) and reinstalled everything. Now I cannot get the wireless nic working under eCS. I think I accidentally installed the NIC software before the PCMCIA support. I messed something up trying to fix it and now eCS now locks up during boot. Did you see the latest EWWS Newsflash (went out on the VOICE News list a few weeks or so ago)? There was an item about IBM planning to release a driver for their wireless card soon. Well, grandpa survived his surgery but the news isn't good. It's the really agressive cancer and they give him about 2 months to live without treatments, 9 months with radiation and chemo treatments.
