I suggested to a supervisor that her tables were not very well normalized, and she got huffy. I guess she is used to (unnecessary) compound keys, and does not wish to kick the habbit.
People just cannot handle criticism.
Perhaps it was the way I said it, but I don't know a better way, at least not in a sound-bite, and she doesn't like longer speaches nor long memos.
Arrrrrrrg!
It is just NOT worth pointing out "better ways" because they rarely go with them and if they don't, they are pissed at you for questioning their great wisdom.
I just have to psych my brain to learn to live with sh*t and like it. A cubicle yes-drone. How does one get like that? Meditation? Golf? Sledgehammer to head?
