Something doesn't make sense.
If Attachmate is buying a Linux business, why would they allow the Unix copyrights to be sold off to a Microsoft led consortium which could cause them major annoyance?
It is possible those "valuable intellectual properties" were not in the package. |

The CPTN (Microsoft) deal is for patents.
