Haven't seen it yet, but the intro comments suggest that, on thsier arrival in the 1700s -- they met the same xeonophobic á lá Puritan reception we have come to know and loathe in our fellow-'Murican yahoos ... ever since. Std. formula: barely tolerated, at best; instant scapegoats in event anything should ever go wrong.. go wrong.. go wrong..

Probably another brilliant but disgusting mini-series.
